Where is Augmento based and do you work internationally?
Augmento is headquartered in Miami, Florida, with team members across Europe and Latin America. We work with clients globally — our platform supports multi-language experiences, international CDN delivery, and can comply with regional data regulations (GDPR, CCPA, LGPD, etc.). We've deployed campaigns across North America, Europe, South America, and the Middle East. Time zone differences are handled through async collaboration and dedicated account managers.
What is geo-fencing and how does Augmento use it?
Geo-fencing creates a virtual boundary around a physical location using GPS coordinates. When a user enters this boundary, they can unlock exclusive AR content tied to that place. Augmento uses geo-fencing to create location-gated experiences — for example, fans at a concert venue can access exclusive AR content that's unavailable anywhere else. This drives physical attendance and creates scarcity that increases perceived value.
